It’s 2020, a new year and a new decade.
It’s the perfect time to think about what is possible.
I’ll admit. I rarely thought about what could be possible.
I’m more of a realist so my thinking was more along the lines of what is. I’ve learned that thinking about what is is limiting. It’s limiting because the focus is around what is around you and what you are know or how things are today.
Asking what’s possible allows you to explore what could be. It’s freeing. It allows you to daydream, make changes and bring awareness to what you want in your life.
What’s possible?
Having work you love? Time to be with and enjoy your family? What’s possible? When you open yourself up to possibility then you’re able to make choices that align with what you really want. Ask yourself what’s possible? Then figure out the how.
- Decide what are you going to stop doing or let go of things that no longer align with you and your goals.
- Create new habits
- start with small actions
- Celebrate your success
As an example: Ask yourself what’s possible?
What’s possible is….I can improve my health…
How can I improve my health? What choices or decision do I need to make?
The choices I need to make to improve my health are to:
- make better food choices
- eliminate 1 cup of coffee a day
- move my body more; take a break every hour and stretch or go for a walk
- drink more water
