At the Emerging Women Live conference in San Francisco one topic discussed was our relationship with money. I learned of an interesting tool called the money type assessment which you can find at moneytype.me. If you do the assessment, you receive a report that gives you insights into how you think about, manage money and includes information on your money archetypes. The money archetypes are Visionary, Producer, Nurturer, Epicure or Independent. I found this tool helpful for having money discussions as it provides a lens that allows you to explore differences in viewpoints and beliefs about money. It helped me to understand the different motivation my husband and I have regarding money. It gave us a way to discuss the topic in a different way.
