Invest in Your Self-Confidence

Confidence in yourself takes you places

Self-confidence determines:

  • Whether you will stand up for yourself or not
  • Your willingness to take risks and make things better
  • Whether you’ll share your thoughts & ideas with others
  • Your ability to admit and learn from mistakes
  • Whether you succeed or not
  • Your Ability to make decisions and choices that best serve you
  • How you show up in the world

Develop and build your self- confidence

  • Identify your accomplishments
  • Learn your strengths
  • Love yourself
  • Know your worth
  • Own your value
  • Take small risks
  • Have courage & take action
  • Learn from your failures
  • Practice speaking up

The more you love yourself and own the value that you offer, the more confident you will become in sharing it with others.

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” Eleanor Roosevelt

Invest in Your Mind

Be a Lifelong Learner

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” Dr. Seuss

I firmly believe that education is one of the best things we can give to ourselves.

When I say education, that doesn’t have to mean going to college or getting degrees.

You can acquire knowledge by:

  • Reading or listening to books
  • Reading magazines or newspapers
  • Listening to podcasts
  • Going to Museums
  • Exploring your community
  • Exposing yourself to different cultures
  • Taking a class
  • Attending a workshop
  • Travel
  • Join groups or organizations
  • Watch videos
  • Engage with people of different backgrounds, experiences or viewpoints
  • Engage in conversations

Expand your knowledge & skills

Education empowers & changes lives.

Knowledge is power.

It expands your world view and opens you to new possibilities.

Expanding your skills and abilities opens you up to new opportunities.

Investing in your mind helps you stand apart from mediocrity.

Keep Your Mind Active

Keeping your mind active helps maintain your mental ability.

Simple things to maintain your mental ability include:

  • play word games
  • sudoku
  • board games
  • perform simple calculations

Investing in yourself makes a difference in your life and your future.

Are you investing in you?

Invest in Your Creativity

Creativity and you

Creativity is a way to express yourself.

It is a form of play. Creativity inspires us. It’s the basis of innovation.

For some, it is a way of being.

Creativity may be expressed as a form of art.

Expression of Creativity

Creativity may be expressed as:

  • Drawing
  • Painting
  • Sculpture
  • Collage
  • Dance
  • Theater
  • Music
  • Cooking
  • Movement
  • Sewing
  • Business ideas
  • Your home or environment
  • Design and in a thousand other ways…

Creativity is not just for kids

Our creativity doesn’t need to diminish as we get older.

“Creativity is not just for artists. It’s for businesspeople looking for a new way to close a sale; it’s for engineers trying to solve a problem; it’s for parents who want their children to see the world in more than one way.”–Twyla Tharp

Sometimes our creativity is sparked when we are out in nature, driving or taking a shower.

We can set time aside to create something new or come up with new ideas for business or improving an area of our life.

Benefits of Creativity

There are many benefits of creativity.  Sylvia Duckworth expresses these nicely in this picture below.
