So excited!

Becoming & Being A Leader card deck is going digital!

I’m excited that the Becoming & Being A Leader card deck will be one of the first decks to go live on Deckible.

This is a new way to interact with the Becoming & Being A Leader card which can be used for inquiry, growth, and development and as reminders for things you are integrating into your life.

Having the card deck be digital allows you to shuffle and pick cards from the deck in different card spreads, and to read the card and the associated content with a flip of the card in one place.

You can journal and meditate on the card message all in one place. What’s great is that you can have the Becoming & Being A Leader card deck with you in your back pocket stored in the app on your phone.

Wait, hold on, what is Deckible?

Deckible is a brand-new mobile app that allows you to take card decks with you on the move. It bills itself as the audible for decks. A marketplace for digital card decks. Tarot, coaching cards, games, flashcards and much much more. Deckible truly builds upon card decks, as a digital experience. Cards are tactile, you can zoom in and out, move them around.

The Deckible app is launching mid-September on iOS and Google Play Store with over 500 creators and their decks.

Becoming & Being A Leader Card Deck

The Becoming and Being A Leader card deck is for anyone who wants to personally grow in their leadership. It’s for anyone stepping into leading others and for those that have been leading others for some time. The way we look at being a leader and our leadership evolves over time and as we face new experiences. We are constantly learning and this card deck allows for you to pick a topic and reflect on your view, your application of it or not, and how you may have evolved in the area over time.

It contains beautiful 52 inspirational cards filled with thought provoking inquiries, practical tips, and practices for you to adopt and apply to your life. Each card contains an image, message, and inquiry questions on leadership concepts. There isn’t one specific path or way to become or be a leader. It starts where you are at with your mindset, attitude, and commitment. It’s a culmination of your skills, experiences, and education. Bottom line…it all starts with you and evolves as we put our leadership into action. Use the cards as an inquiry for reflection, coaching, or as a practice for growth and development.

Buy the physical deck here.

Buy the digital on deckible in the mindfulness or purpose & priority genre.

Life Flow Journey

What’s holding you back?

What’s holding you back?
Expectation
Perfection
Fear
Your willingness to trust yourself & be vulnerable
the courage to free yourself of worry & judgement
from yourself, from others?
What if you showed up fully for yourself?

What if you showed up fully for yourself?

Being in the Moment

I am connected to the present moment
Sitting in quiet awe and wonder
My heart fills with love and admiration
Time has slowed, there is space to think,
to breathe and just be
a feeling of warmth and calm runs through me
I am at peace
I am fully present in this moment
I look deep within myself and engage my soul
with curiosity and lighthearted playfulness
I seek to find my new purpose, my message and my offerings,
To find my inner light
to grow it and shine it bright for others
I tap into my brilliance and inner wisdom
To express my inner light

Creative Flow

Creativity starts to flow with grace and ease
I move with the energy in a soft and steady way
Like the waves flow into the shore on a calm and sunny day
There is no pressure or expectation
ideas unfold and my creation flows through me
I stay grounded and calm
I ask myself
What would happen if I just relaxed and went with the flow?
What gifts may awaken?
What may I create? Who may I become?
I am trying new things
At my own pace, in my own time and space
I embrace the beauty and light
in each next natural step, I take
I am not afraid

Quest

I am on a quest of exploration of my deepest self and soul
I am trusting my wisdom, my brilliance and myself.
I am finding my rhythm and balance
as I engage with my life and my work
I am expanding into new directions
I am fully present and engaged in my life
My energy flows in creative waves

Living in a new way

I am living in a new way
I create with flow and express myself in newfound ways
I am living with deep self-trust, expression and light
I am allowing myself to be me
to live a life of beauty, ease, and grace,
one filled with radiance, love and joy

Trust Yourself

Try it
trust yourself,
play and go with the flow
create
You never know what will transpire

Limits

The only limits we have are what we put on ourselves.

Open yourself up to possibility.

We don’t realize that we set limits for ourselves or that we allow others to set them for us.

When we were kids, our parents set limits for us to keep us safe, on task or for your well being. These may have included:

  • how much tv or “screen time” you may have
  • curfews to be home by midnight
  • getting homework done before you go to work
  • # of after school activities you could do
  • what type of job you should have

The list goes on. In high school as I was trying to decide what I should go to school for I hadn’t been exposed to the plethora of jobs and careers available. When I started to do research I became aware of new possibilities. I continued to stay open to learning new things and growing my edges.

What I started out doing 25 years ago has evolved way beyond what I ever considered for myself. A huge motivator for me was when I was told “you won’t be able to do….”this or that”.

I always thought, oh yeah. Watch me. I’ll show you. I worked really hard. My hard work paid off as I achieved my goals. I’ll admit It gets tiring always having to prove yourself to others. Now, I only work to prove things to myself.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Where in your life are you limiting yourself?
  • What beliefs do you have that are limiting your potential?
  • What things did you hear as a child or now that limit you?
  • If you focused your time, effort and energy on the goal rather than the excuses that help limit you, what could you achieve?
