Being Brave

Feel the Fear & Do it Anyway

This week my daughter performed in her school talent show and helped to raise money for a great cause.

I’m always amazed at her willingness and ability to perform in front of an audience. This was the third time she’s gone on stage and sang a song by herself. Though she gets nervous before hand, when she takes the stage she just goes out and owns it. She’s a natural at having stage presence. She manages to engage with the audience every time she performs.

To say I’m proud is an understatement.

What I admire most is her willingness to feel the fear and do it anyway.

Where in your life do you need to be brave?

Being a leader requires some bravery.

It requires you to feel the fear and do it anyway. It requires you to step up. It requires you to be visible and be present in your life.

Being a leader requires you to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Being a leader is a vulnerable, truly human experience.

Are you willing to be Brave and be the leader of your life?
